This oriole was in an apple tree, at a forested area, where I 
go for spring bird photography. Most flowering trees only 
bloom for a short period in temperate regions, so it is always
nice to take a photograph of a bird under those conditions.
Spring is certainly a very special time of the year for many of us!

One of the most colorful of the songbirds seen here in the northeast and in Canada. This nice specimen captured among the apple blossoms looks like a beautiful watercolor painting. Very nice image.
