I photographed this speedy little guy locally, it's not easy to track them, though.

When I first saw this image my first thought was, he did a great job tracking this guy. Wonderful image overall including nice subtle head turn and a good background to show him off.

I call swallows "practice birds"- after chasing them for a while, other flying birds are easy :) Lovely pose captured.

Yes, they are pretty good practice subjects, they just need to learn to fly in a straight line more often. :)
