As I was purging some of my most recent files I came across this male Blackburnian Warbler from the Spring. This Blackburnian is hunting in typical fashion, at the end of a hemlock or other evergreen tree, often hovering just off the end to catch their prey.
This is not part of a series but over the next few days I will probably show a few more warbler images I came across during my recent purge.

Beautiful! Love the bright colors of the bird set against the soft spring greens, and the soft light just adds to the beauty.

Great showing of that gorgeous coloring and a nice pose-. Love these birds and never get a decent shot of them. Feeling a little greenish. ;).

Another excellent Warbler image, Warren; one of my favourite species as well. Great pose, showing all the colours and patterns, which
makes the Blackburnian so special.

Great-looking specimen, and the eye level makes it even better.
