When I saw the oldest in the air I thought it was just practicing. I was very surprised, when it took off for a short, flight. Mother encouraging them for a few days now, by taking a short flight above the island and the river. (Look at the eyes of the two siblings through the twigs.)

Lovely shot, Karl!  Once I found the golden eyes peeping through the twigs they really jump out at me when I look at the nest now! :)
