This is another image of the Indigo Bunting that I posted
recently. The light was perfect that morning, for showing
the blue colouration , at its best. 
One of my favourite migratory songbirds.

The soft light really helps to bring out the detail in the Buntings feathers. Many images of this species lack the detail in the feathers as they are captured in strong light to show the color sheen but by doing so miss the individual feathers. This image strikes a nice balance between wonderful color and feather detail.
