I posted a Kingbird image on June 19 with the following caption:
"They nested at that location last year. This year I had seen only one and checked on several times. There won't be baby images this year." I was wrong. The female was unseen as she was sitting on the nest only a short distance from the guarding male, well hidden in the tree. Here she is. Sony a9 II Sony 200-600 + 1.4x TC. ISO 1600 1/1000 s f 9.0 |
