Nikon D850, Nikon 500mm F5.6 pf
ISO 320, 1/1250s, F6.3 A small flock of Cedar Waxwings were foraging for blueberries at my friend's orchard when I came across this individual that had the red wax like appendages on his wings. It seems as though a good number of Waxwings lack the red "wax" on the wings and I find I am more attracted to those that do. In this case I stuck with this bird exclusively and was fortunate to have it end up in a nice position for this image. Please click for higher resolution. |
