There is an apple tree among the other tree species, where I
go for bird photography, and I noticed orioles feeding on
insects around the blossoms. Although the orioles tend to
forage higher in trees, and often in the middle as well, this one
came out for a second to capture a larva, before flying out.

Always great to see the orioles in the Spring, when they arrive
here, after their winter in the tropics.

Good job getting him with the small larva. Nice to have a group of "go to" trees to see various birds each year.

Lovely image Paul. It took me a while to find its second foot, with just a claw showing. Love the colours on these birds and dinner a bonus.

Lovely setting for this beauty, and very nice to see it with a larva as well. Nicely done.
