Very nice to see a different approach. Love the light effect on the wings and the way it contrasts against the dark drain in the background. Good work!

This would be good in a series of shots showing the different angles on the owl. It does give a nice view of the topside plumage colours and markings in dramatic light.

Great shot !! It would look awesome (especially, given your already black BG) in a composite showing a series of images at different angles.
