One of the most fascinating and satisfying part of a recent family vacation - photography quest is this encounter with the Ruby Topaz hummingbird. IT is only later on that you see the many variations in their wing patterns as they hover in mid-air flight!  A Lifer that i will cherish for a long time!

Cracking image Ramesh. Love those colours. Large view shows it best, including the tongue on show. Nice one.

This is such an interesting shot in that for me, it appears to be a painting until I enlarge the image and then see the detail. Very interesting looking hummingbird and terrific background, both visually and info, that presents him very well.

A wonderful image, Ramesh; the red colouration on the head is very striking, plus I'm certain that there are very few locations where one can
see a hummingbird at what appears to be a species of cactus. A very unique photo.

Super shot- the colors really glow and the cactus flower is wonderful.
