Spring and summer resident- long distant winter migrant
to South America.

Kingbirds are usually seen near trees or fences adjacent to
open fields, from which they fly out to catch larger flying insects.
Despite the fact that they don't have any vivid colouration, ( they
have a reddish crest which is usually concealed), they always
look striking, in their own way.

A very nice overall image of the Kingbird. Getting him with the soft pine background really makes him look great. It's interesting because, as your info suggests, I usually associate them with more open fields and some marshy areas as well. Very well done.

Looks good. The colour of the background works well against the more monochrome bird.
