Paul and some other people might want to know the name of the flower. It is called; Wild Blue Indigo as per one of the gardeners.

Thank you for finding out the name of the flower for us, Karl. The hummingbirds are certainly very fond of it ! All these hummingbird photos have
been outstanding. ( I've recently read about the facility at Guelph University; it looks like an excellent place for bird photography ).

Sweet shot- lovely pose with the flower. Hmm- I have hummers, and this flower in my garden. Will have to see if they are interested....

All of your recent hummingbird images have been great. This one is my favorite as the position of the hummingbird is terrific and the background of out of focus Indigo flowers really frames him nicely.
