Nikon D850, Nikon 500mm F5.6
ISO 320, 1/1250s, F6.3 This is an adult male Magnolia Warbler photographed in May. To my eye, this is the Warbler that best describes the overall "look" of a warbler. He is both dainty in appearance and feisty while hunting his prey. At least one of his colors of black, white, grey and yellow also fit many, but not all, of the other warbler species. To me, when seen against his evergreen habitat in good light, he is the most striking of all the warbler species. Please click for higher resolution. |
