The male brought in the food and the female appeared out of no where to pick up the morsel and take it to the nest. Very cloudy day so high ISO was needed. ISO10000, 1/2000sec, f6.3, Sony 200-600 at 600mm, A1. Processed in Capture One and Topaz Denoise.

Remarkable shot-unusual to see this. Great that you caught this action. Looks like a baby bird offering?

It appeared to be a young bird, or a plucked one. The head was missing so I couldn’t figure it out.

Great looking action shot of something that is probably rarely photographed with this species. The size of the young bird/prey would probably be something that nests on the ground in your area. Beautiful work with post processing to bring out the terrific detail as well.

Scott, It's impressive that an image can look this good at 10,000 ISO. A real tribute to the camera and processing software. A very nice image.

It’s amazing what newer cameras are capable of. Coming from the film days, I always dreamed of being able to capture images like this in the old days. I missed so many opportunities that will never present themselves again!!!
You certainly captured a unique moment and the colors and BG are great.
