I see this bird regularly on my local beach, so look for interesting poses. She was executing a sharp turn, interesting, I think, to see the capture of the aerodynamics, with the slotted primaries in the leading wing and full lift off the other wing. Added some canvas.
ISO1000, 400mm, f5.6, 1/4000, by Canon. The high key might be an acquired taste, but in the wet tropics a bright overcast is often the best light. |
