This is a nice Spring specimen of a male Cerulean Warbler I photographed the second week in May of this year.  I actually was fortunate to get nice shots of two of them in two different locations in different areas of New York State. This image shows the warbler searching for food which he found quite often while I watched for a while. However, this image without food ended up being my favorite of this type of shot of him. For those who have photographed him know they are tree top dwellers, and good shots usually are only available either during or shortly after migration. This was one of my target warblers for 2021.

I love this one, Warren! Definitely one of my favourites of your warbler images - and it isn't easy as they are all beautiful.

It's always a thrill to see and photograph this species and you certainly captured a beauty here (bird and image!)

An excellent image of a Warbler species that is not seen too often. The downward pose is very good, as is everything else in your photo, Warren.
Glad that you were able to photograph one of your target species.

A really lovely shot- beautiful downward pose, and such a joy to see this rare bird (at least where I live). The name suits to color-a beautiful cerulean blue.

A must to view large. Brilliant image Warren. Can't be easy to get these in the foliage.
