THe Common yellow throat is the most ubiquitous yet elusive and shy. Led by their song this warbler definitely gets one all riled up in frustration. I was working in the yard when i noticed am audible change in the flow of the running water in the fish pond. Turned around and this beauty was out there to get a bath late in the afternoon on a hot sunny day - Why should i refuse?? Enjoy the cool waters while i get a few pictures. Thanks to the shadows cast by a neighboring evergreen it made for a better composition than one with glaring late spring afternoon sun. What I really like is that fact that i got him in the water and not in the more common floral or mossy perch!!
