A couple of nights ago a new pair of barn owls took up residence in our barn, causing a bit of havoc with the existing pair. This is the first image of the new female.

Isn't it nice to have these beautiful owls in your own backyard (barn). Lovely capture.

Sweet shot! Nice detail, pose, composition and a cool perch. The brighter spots in the background pull the eye a little.

It sounds like squatters have moved in, Des. The bright spots in the top left catch my eye but the owl is beautifully captured.

What a beauty-I'm with Carol on the bright spots-maybe you can tone them down? But it's still a lovely shot.

Really a wonderful shot, I really like how the branch draws a soft line in the composition and makes the barn owl stand out beautifully. Very nice background so colorful.
