I previously posted a photo of least terns exchanging fish as part of their mating ritual. The male continues to bring fish for his partner as they move on to build the nest. This is assumed to an activity to strengthen the bond between the mated pair.
I woke up at 3 and drove for about 90 minutes to get to the beach before the sunrise. It was all worth it because terns were already active and bringing in fish for their mate. I was able to shoot this photo with the sun just above the horizon, creating sparkles in the waves.

This is like a scene from a dream, Rajan! Lovely composition, silhouettes, golden light and colour palette. Beautiful frame.

Just gorgeous! A very special scene-so tender and evocative. So glad you got the early sun and these silhouettes. Frame it and hang it on your wall.

This is a wonderful show Rajan!
I love the colors and the sensations that this image gives me, I observe it and I hear the voices of the birds and the breaking of the waves
with the scent of the sea just before dawn. For a moment you took me there.

Mary,
Those are some really awesome words that made my day. I truly appreciate it. One can't get any better compliments about their photo than these. I am honored and humbled.
