Shot at late afternoon, early evening. This cooperative Least  Bittern spent 45 minutes at the edge of the reeds that was truly amazing, as it is normally a shy bird. So we shot about 600 frames. :D

Karl, an amazing pose of the Bittern in great-looking habitat. The positioning of the feet really caught my attention. Excellent work!

A beautiful image, Karl; the pose, clasping onto the reed stalks, is so good! The colours are great, and the eye really highlights the bird as well.
