A common bird, but being under a stay-at-home order, it's hard to get out after more interesting stuff. Taken from a bag blind. Sony A1, 200-600mm, f5.6, 289mm, at ISO 5000, 1/4000sec

With shots like this, you should be staying home more often. A beautiful BIF image of the blue jay in a great position and with a green background which shows him off perfectly. Fantastic timing.

Gorgeous image and magnificent flying action where you can fully appreciate the designs of all feathers.

This may be common for you, Scott - but not for me over this side of the pond!  :)   A stunningly beautiful capture of this gorgeous jay, superb detail and colour,  and such a wonderful in-flight pose.  Amazing image!  I Love it!

Killing pose, excellent quality and detail, Scott. I'm sure you enjoy all the new and updated features on the A1.
Most people like common birds. As some of my customers phrased it referring to the Bird picture: "It talks to me"
When I was selling my pictures a few years back, 95% of my sale was common birds.
I like common birds. In fact Blue Jays and Gray Jays got me into serious bird photography beside the Owls.

Maybe a common bird, but not a common pose! You really nailed the action. I think Blue Jays are really beautiful birds, and I forget that sometimes. Thanks for the stunning reminder!
