PALM WARBLER

I NORMAL WOULD NOT POST AND IMAGE OF A WARBLER COMPLETELY IN THE OPEN AND ON THE GROUND LIKE THAT,THE BIRDS BELONG IN THE TREES AND ON A BRANCHES BUT AFTER THINK ABOUT THIS IMAGE, IT'S NOT BAD AFTER ALL IT FELT LIKE SHOOTING A SHOREBIRD FROM MY STOMACH POSITION, THIS IS A FIRST TIMER FOR ME IN SO MANY YEARS OF BIRD PHOTOGRAPHY, ESPECIALLY A WARBLER.

Well I think this is an absolutely gorgeous image in every way, Peter! - and as you say, not the usual place to photograph a warbler, but its superb. Beautifully done!

A great image, Peter, and the low perspective, turned out very well here. Nice pose, detail, and the all green foreground and background, looks good also.

Works for me. The Palm Warbler is actually a ground nester but in it's native habitat of northern bogs it's nearly impossible to get a clean shot of them on the ground such as you have captured on a flatter lawn like setting. Great isolation, as has been mentioned by others.
