Turkey Vulture

A Turkey Vulture after a kerfuffle over a perch with another vulture. He ended up with a feather for his prize and choice of this perch. Taken at Bosque yesterday evening.
Nikon D850, 300 f4 PF, TC14E(420mm), f11@1/800 sec., handheld.

Hi Ron
 Thanks for the comment. Bosque is great at all times of year. It’s hot now and will be getting hotter, but I love the different variety of life there now. Also, few visitors! I usually only go down for about the last three hours of light these days, but there is something there all day long. The arboretum is really great now, as well.
