An odd colored Cattle Egret at Bosque del Apache on April 29. I was trying to get a sidelighted/backlit image as it was moving through the grass. I don't know what the reason is for the coloration, but I believe it is a partially melanistic mutation, rather than just staining. It was hanging around with two normal colored Cattle Egrets and was identical in every other way.
