Lovely detail and sweet pose from this little beauty, Amy. Sparrows are often overlooked, but I can see why this is a favourite, especially with the flashes of extra colours around the head.

Such beautiful colors and nice pose, Amy.
Saw some in the Cemetery while chasing Warblers but they did not want their picture taken today.

A great little bird in a beautiful setting, Amy! As Carol points out, the yellow on the head makes this special.

We like to get a great background, which you have here, but to me the foreground makes this one for me. The bird is perfectly clear, but there is a great sense of habitat. Very nice.

As Carol related, sparrows are often times overlooked but they have some beautiful members of the family including the White Throated. Very nice image of the bird in a well timed natural framed situation.
