 ISO 320, 1/800s, F8.0 This is a male Blackpoll Warbler in breeding plumage. Although they usually nest in the boreal forests of Canada, this one was photographed on Whiteface Mountain in upstate NY where they are known to breed at high elevations in the Adirondack Mountains. They're song is so high pitched it's almost impossible to hear. Please click for higher resolution. |
