Nikon D810, Nikon 300mm F2.8 + 1.4TC
ISO400, 1/800s, F6.3, Tripod This male Blackburnian was taken during early Spring migration two years ago. He was the first one of its kind that I saw that year as he seemed to have arrived with a wave of Yellow-rumped Warblers. I've previously posted a couple of other images of Blackburnian's. However, this one clearly shows the orange throat which makes them among the most striking and sought after by birders in my area. Please click for higher resolution. |
