This is the last hummingbird image from the previous year,
and hopefully they will be returning soon, from the tropics,
for another season of observation and photography.

Beautiful colors in the background and flower. Good details in the hummingbird also.

A beautiful image, Paul. Excellent depth-of-field – I love how the large leaf is sharp and serves as a leading line into the image. Very nice pose with the hummer at the blossom, and I like how the blurred wing implies motion. One of your better hummingbird shots.
