Taking off. I have an opportunity to shoot them at their future nest hole that carved out by a Downy Woodpecker last fall, but the Swallows are more aggressive and they took it over. I will post a few more shots I hope.

Beautiful take off pose and the extra swallow is a nice bonus.

Really well built and very balanced image.
I like the stationary swallow opposite to the take-off one.

Karl, excellent work! The image is perfectly balanced with the bird in flight ahead of it's perched companion. Looking forward to more!

A very nice image, with one stationary swallow, and one in flight, captured together. A different composition, and most enjoyable to view.
A good perch, included in the photo, plus the blues in the background, compliment the blues on the swallows.

Super shot Karl. The stationary Swallow adds a nice balance to this.

I agree!  This is a beautiful image and the two birds work in perfect harmony together, Karl!  Well done!
