Excellent lighting, for your image, John. A nice low perspective, plus the all blue water and background, is a nice contrast to
the colours in the godwit.

Beautiful light and pose as others have previously stated. I really like the contrast of the cold water and warm bird that the low sun has created. Well done.

the perfect golden light at it's best and the detailing with-in the feathers are superb, nice image JOHN.
