Lesser Nighthawk

While driving my wife for a Big Day birding competition we ended day at Lake Balmorhea - the highlight there were over 50 Lesser Nighthawks feeding over a wetland marsh on one side of lake with a beautiful sunset over Davis Mountains (pic posted in Landscapes)
Would not usually post a picture with this poor on sharpness - but this was taken after sunset of a flying nighthawk handheld with 500 mm PF on a Nikon Z7 - not best for fast flying birds but I got lucky and it was an incredible sight to have that many Nighthawks all in same place
Nikon Z7, 500mm f/5.6 PF, 1/1250 sec, f5.6 Iso 11,400
