I've included this image out of many of the Canada Warbler as it had the most extensive "necklace/collar" I have ever seen on a breeding male Canada Warbler. I'm not sure if it has to do with my region of the northeast or just the usual variable nature of the extent of the "necklace" but I thought it was worth noting for warbler enthusiasts.

I just love warblers, so happy its spring! Wonderful image, I like how the warbler is placed between the branches and the sprouting leaves add to it. Interesting about the necklace too!

A superb image of a Canada Warbler, Warren. This individual shows the most extensive collar that I have seen myself on a Canada, either
in person, or from field guides. I couldn't find any reference to sub-species of the Canada Warbler in any books I have, so perhaps as you
thought, it may be individual variation, for the species. Regardless, it's a great photo, and thanks for sharing it with us.
