Sanderling take off!!!

"Anticipation!!!"
I was on the beach watching, photographing a flock of peeps. At one point, I saw a jogger running towards the birds. I knew that was going to disturb the flock that was comfortably resting. I isolated one sanderling and waited for the man to come closer. As expected, birds were disturbed. Luckily the bird I was focussing on co-operated. As the bird woke up, he stretched, jumped, squawking to show his displeasure, and then took off. Nature is awesome!!!

Auto ISO (ISO 500) + 1/1600s | f/5.6 + 840mm
