Took this before Covid-19.  Cropped tight to concentrate view.   D500 and a Nikon 70-200 2.8II at 135mm.  1/2000 F4 at ISO 500.

Wow, David this is a truly amazing flight shot.
I had an opportunity to see and take pictures of this Owl perching.
I think it is the most beautiful Owl among the Owl species, that is.
The slightly open beak and full eye contact and feather detail puts it over the top.

Just a beautiful shot of one of the most impressive of all the owls. I really like the diagonal look of the wings, and how the owl cuts the boundary between the grasses and the trees in the background. You can't beat the eyes of an Eagle Owl ! Beautifully done.
