Going back to February when the redpolls were flocking to the yard. I'm going to miss these guys!

I too will miss these guys. My two young grandsons (ages 5 and 3) took great joy watching the large flock at the feeders whenever they were at our house. Your bird is in a great pose and interestingly has a perfect snowflake on it, just to the left of the bottom tip of it's right (near) wing.

A wonderfully composed image, Amy; everything else is so good, especially the snow-covered branch, as well.

We have seen a lot of redpoll images this winter, and its been a real treat to see such a variety of different poses and compositions - and now you have come up with this lovely (and again) different view! Beautifully done!

Excellent shot, Amy. We had three residents and a flock of visiting up to ten this year.
