Excellent capture - nice eye contact - Lovely light.
Personally I would clean up the BG a bit - especially the OOF branch close to the wing.

I like the sidelight and the symmetry in this image, Mike! A slight crop on the right would center this raptor and enhance the symmetry, and I feel a center crop would work well with this image. I also would prefer the image without the tree branches. Good job! :)
