This Blackburnian Warbler, was at a close distance,
but was partially obscured by leaves; however, I
decided to take the image, although the uneven light
was not ideal.  It's hard to pass up an opportunity
to photograph this species, as they are only in my
region briefly in the spring and fall; and the colours
are very special, as well.

May image- Province of Ontario. (Canada).

Lovely portrait shot. I'm wondering if we can go to Point Peele this year in May.

Very nice color and fine detail. Looks to be a fine specimen as well. I think the out of focus green at the bottom actually draws one into looking at the detail of the warbler. If it were mine I would take some off the top, but leave the bird exactly as is.

Thanks for your review of the image, Warren. On reexamining the photo, I would agree with you now
about reducing the top part of the image, as there is too much dead space up there. Perhaps a 6x4 crop
would have been ok also.  Looking forward to this seasons Warblers, as I'm sure you are as well!
