Restrictions to travel during the pandemic including those from work led to a slump in photography. Reading articles, watching videos related to photography and wildlife could only do so much to bolster creativity. Usually feeding birds in the backyard notched a few scales and with a tragopan blind the weekends became a lot entertaining and frustrating too. A frequent cute fellow that was really hard to get was the Black capped chickadee - u can hear 'em and u see them for a split second - u snooze ya loose. Prefocussed on the perch and firing away upon arrivsal was the way to go and it paid off!
Hope you like it

Well done! Composition, pose, perch, and background are excellent.

Chickadees are always so expressive. Your patience paid off! Very sweet perched on the branch. "My" chickadees are quite tame-they talk to me when I go out to feed them!
