I can always count on being visited by a Whiskey Jack when out in the woods, even at this time of year. Canada's national bird!

Great wintery pose. Nicely exposed and very striking against that dark background.

I love how the dark background sets off this beautiful Whiskey Jack and its perch. The detail is excellent. Well done, Gary!

As said, a lovely wintry setting Gary. Super light on this which sets the darker bg against this nicely.

Lovely setting for this charmer- I like the green needles and snow against the dark background. Beautifully done!

very nice shot. I keep making plans to go shoot them this year but I have about a 5 hour drive to get to them and can't seem to find a full day to get up there and back. This shot has inspired me to make the time!
