Cape May Warbler

Nikon D850, Nikon 500mm F5.6 pf
ISO 320, 1/1000s, F6.3

This is a male Cape May Warbler in Spring migration during a takeoff from one branch to another while searching for food.
I guess I'm on a Spring kick with migrating warblers as a theme.

Its always good to see action captures among the usual posed on a perch images, Warren and this is a lovely pre-take off moment captured beautifully with excellent sharp detail. Couldn't ask for more!

I'll take that as a compliment !!  My two favorite bird species to shoot are warblers and owls, but as I'm sure with most of us, I have had many more encounters with warblers.  Thanks for your kind words.
