It was a great pleasure to spend an evening with this owl, somewhere in the Interior British Columbia. Thanks to Connor and Jess for sharing the location with us. I wish I had a little more room on the top, but love the setting.

I love this, so nice to see the owl in a summer setting instead of the usual winter settings. Did you get any of him perched on the stump too?

Very nice image, Rajan. I was curious as to where in the B. C. Interior the photo was taken, as I grew up in B. C.

Thank you for your kind words. I do have a couple of photos perched on the stump. I'll post it later.

Love the setting and the pose. Any time you get to photograph one of these amazing birds it is super special.
