This is a beautiful bird and you shot him in a pose which captures the essence of your description. Skulkers are very difficult birds to shoot as well as this image. The skulkers I'm familiar with usually have dull plumage unlike this colorful bird. Should view this image uncompressed. Well done.

Thanks for your appreciation,this habitat (NE India) shares a lot of skulkers,they are restless,fast moving and remain in mixed hunting flock in secondary forest thicket and some are solitary who are even hard to see!
