winters in Northern South America.
( The Blackburnian warbler, is one of the
very few breeding birds of North America,
that has orange colouration, in its'
plumage).

Paul, Especially like that the perch is sized correctly for the small bird and that the background complements the image very well, almost giving the bird a 3d effect.

Blackburnian Warblers, in their breeding plumage, can be tough to photograph as they are usually found very high in evergreen trees except in Spring migration. This is a really good angle to show their most beautiful orange feathers on the throat part of the bird. Well done isolating the bird against a soft background.
