A juvenile Common Loon swallows a perch while it's parent searches to provide it with more food.

Amazing behavioral image, Warren! That youngster has quite an appetite to eat that big perch. The water droplets over the parent's head add interest. Great eye to capture this action.

Hi Ron,
Just for a little additional info, the water drops came from the tail of the perch as it was struggling to get away. It flipped it's tail upward and made the beads of water.  Lucky timing on my part as I was happy just to get the juvenile with the perch.  Warren

Wow, I thought the parent created those water droplets. It is even more amazing knowing the fish tail created them. Thanks for pointing that out.
