Wonderful image, David. The beautiful pattern shows well when clicked on. The perch and background are excellent.

The weather elements of wind and rain add to the overall image of the owl. Really nice looking perch as well.

Dave, a terrific pose with the owl looking back through the frame, and beautiful use of space in the composition. The detail and exposure look great. The mixing of raindrops and sunshine provides the perfect finishing touch. Excellent.

Thanks Karl.  The Barn Owl has such intricate and beautiful patterns, it's quite remarkable and probably my favourite bird we have here in the UK.

Beautiful!
I love the expressive pose of the subject and all the details of the feathers so pleasantly noticeable.
Wonderful in larger format, beautiful even the uniform background and that hint of rain completes it in a poetic way.
