Its been a pretty long time that I could spend sometime with my camera amidst this pandemic. During my last tour I stumbled upon this beautiful drake which is pretty uncommon in our areas. This drake is an absolute beauty. But he was exceptionally shy and was determined not to provide decent approach. I could take a few shots however which I will try to share in my coming uploads.

Thanks for watching.

Great illustration of the shaped tertials which give this bird it's name.

Really successful shot, very dynamic and very nice attitude.
I particularly appreciate the composition where the splashes of water start right from the lower left corner.
Also nice depth of field.

Excellent capture of this beautiful and unusual duck- the splash behind really enhances the uplifting feel of the picture.
