Gene, a great flight shot of these two Caracaras – love the arched or cupped wings and the meal in the beak!

Great flight shot of the two. I assume that the follower is a young bird.

Karl, An easy way to tell the age of a Caracara is the color of their feathers--the lighter the color the younger they are--and--look at the color of their beak.  Young Caracaras have a lighter colored beak and when they are fully mature, the beak is a darker orange color.
