Another image of our rare bird. No one reported any sighting lately so I assume that it is heading towards some warmer place now.
The lower part of the body had some strong reddish yellowish color cast that I removed.

When they arrive at Bosque, it is common for them to have a yellowish staining on the chest. I hope it is around there somewhere, but it is that time of year. I love to see them against green like this. Something lacking around here.

Great shot with excellent exposure of the whites, Karl. I hope it returns to your area next year!

Beautiful exposure of this snow goose. I have only had a small amount of experience with snow geese but from what I have seen, many of them have yellow staining from their time breeding and feeding in the Arctic Tundra. Regardless, this is a wonderful image of a great looking adult in a beautiful environment.
