I made this image a few days ago shooting from my deck in Corning NY.  I was calmly photographing birds on various perches, testing out the new RF 100-500 on my R5, and was attracted to this common species sitting on a great perch and good background. After one bland shot the bird took off. Fortunately, the camera tracked him with this result.  Full image displayed, no crop.

Ed, sweet takeoff shot with excellent head turn and eye contact. Nicely done!
