This is pretty easy bird for me since it shows up in my yard at times and I live only 2 hrs north of Christmas Mountain Oasis (CMO) where I try to go and help Carolyn keep this place running
Took this picture day I was down working up a proposal to get some money to help the infrastructure - Anyway this nice adult male posed nicely for me.

What a beautiful portrait of a great looking hummingbird. This is a terrific position to see the best of what makes this hummingbird such an attractive subject. Well done.

I agree with Warren. And I love the iridescence too. Excellent image!
